About him[]

The Hatter (Hatta in Through the Looking-Glass, more commonly known as The Mad Hatter, and Tarrant Hightopp in the  2010 movie), is a fictional character from Lewis Carroll's novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel, Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There. As Alice and the March Hare are the only other individuals to appear in both books, he can be considered a principal character. Although he is never referenced as 'The Mad Hatter' in either of Carroll's books, the Hatter is portrayed as 'mad' and hence has become known as such. Johnny Depp portrayed the Mad Hatter in the 2010 movie. In the movie, he is known for his Futterwacken which is a dance of immense joy.

He wears a multiple combinations of colors on his clothes as well as on his face. He is also known of his curly hair and his big hat.
